PICK&RUN
Account and Data Deletion
App: Pick&Run · Developer: Haveajam Company
This page can be viewed without logging in.
This page explains how to delete your Pick&Run account and the personal information it holds, what is deleted, and how long data is kept. Deletion is completed by withdrawing your membership; no separate request form is required.
This English text is provided for reference. In case of any discrepancy, the Korean version prevails.
1How to request deletion
- 1Press “Proceed to withdrawal” below. If you are not logged in, the login panel opens first.
- 2Once logged in, you are taken straight to Settings › Account › Delete account.
- 3Review the notice and consent items, then complete the withdrawal. Accounts created with an email and password confirm the password once more.
The withdrawal screen is at picknrun.co.kr/en/setting/account/delete (Korean /ko/…).
■ If you have already uninstalled the app or cannot log in
Please request deletion through the contact channels below. We process it the same way after verifying your identity.
- •Kakao channel: https://pf.kakao.com/_YxdwGn
- •Email: contact@haveajam.com
2What happens immediately
- •Login and service access are blocked immediately, and sessions on all logged-in devices are revoked.
- •Personal information is not erased on the spot; it is destroyed after 30 days. Section 4 explains why.
- •Withdrawal cannot be undone. There is no way to restore the same account.
3Data that is deleted
Thirty days after withdrawal, the following items are destroyed in an unrecoverable manner.
- •Account details — email, password, name, date of birth, phone number, gender, social login identifier
- •Profile — nickname and profile photo
- •Personal information inside participation records — participant name, contact, date of birth, and application form answers
- •The purchaser phone number entered at payment and the refund account left when cancelling
- •Notification inbox, push notification device records, and login tokens
- •The name and description of your personal channel
4Why there is a 30-day period
The period exists so that refunds, settlements, and disputes can be resolved. If participation records tied to payments were erased immediately, there would be no basis to verify who is owed a refund and how much.
During those 30 days you cannot create a new account with the same email address or phone number (see section 8).
5Items retained as required by law
The following items are retained for the stated periods because applicable laws require it, and are destroyed afterwards. This matches Article 9 of the Privacy Policy.
| Item | Legal basis | Period |
|---|---|---|
| Records of contracts and withdrawals of offers | E-Commerce Act | 5 years |
| Records of payment and supply | E-Commerce Act | 5 years |
| Records of consumer disputes | E-Commerce Act | 3 years |
| Service access records (web server logs) | Protection of Communications Secrets Act | 3 months |
6What remains after deletion
So that event history stays intact, record structures are kept and only the values that identify a person are erased. In the items below, nothing beyond an internal member number can identify an individual.
- •Participation records themselves — the name shown in rosters becomes “Withdrawn user”. Capacity counts, draws, and match results reference these records.
- •The basis for eligibility decisions — the gender and DUPR rating recorded at the time of application
- •Payment records themselves — subject to five-year retention under the E-Commerce Act
- •Consent history — terms, privacy, and marketing consents, and the withdrawal record
7When deletion cannot proceed yet
Withdrawal does not proceed in the following two cases. The withdrawal screen tells you which ones apply, with counts.
- •You hold a seat in an event that has not finished — cancel the application or withdraw after the event ends. Waitlisted applications do not hold a seat and do not block withdrawal.
- •A refund is in progress — you can withdraw once the refund is complete.
8Restriction on signing up again
For 30 days after withdrawal you cannot sign up again with the same email address or the same phone number. The restriction lifts automatically once the personal information is destroyed after 30 days.
During the grace period the email address and phone number still belong to the withdrawn account, which would make account recovery and password reset ambiguous.
